Where does my donation go?
In 2009 the Red Cross provided the following services to the Florida's West Coast Region:
- Provided financial assistance to 633 families following a disaster
- Taught 36,474 how to perform a lifesaving skill such as first aid and CPR
- Deployed hundreds of volunteers to provide relief in response to fires, flooding and other disasters throughout the West Coast Florida Region.
- Relayed 1,321 emergency messages for members of the military and their families around the world, helping them stay connected to family members during a difficult separation.
